See at a glance who has signed and who you are still waiting on
The email your team receives after each signature has been rebuilt around the question you actually open it for: who is left. The subject now names the person who signed, the agreement they signed and the holding it belongs to, instead of reading "Signature completed", and the body carries one Signing Progress list of every signer in order, with a check beside everyone who is done and a pending marker beside everyone still outstanding — replacing the old split "signed so far" and "remaining" lists. A Subscription or Commitment message also names the investment amount and the investing entity behind it. Custom agreements now send this message on the last signature before your own as well, where the other agreement types stay quiet at that moment because their counter-sign notification already covers it.

Signing up with an email you already have now tells you so
Trying to sign up with an address that already belongs to an account used to come back as a generic failure, which left you no way to tell what had gone wrong. The form now says the address is already taken by an account and puts the sign-in and password-reset links in front of you, so you can get back into the one you have instead of trying again. Clicking Create account twice no longer starts a second sign-up, and a sign-up that works now always carries you through to the next step. Covercy will never ask you to share your password, two-factor codes, or banking credentials by email, text, or phone.

Filter your contacts by tag
Investors → Contacts now has a Tags filter in its toolbar that narrows the list to the contacts carrying the tags you pick, and it offers all of your contact tags — not only the ones that happen to be on the page in front of you. Picking a second tag widens the view rather than narrowing it: a contact appears if it carries any of the tags you selected. The filter works together with search, sorting and paging — the total and the page count describe the filtered list, and your selection is carried in the page URL, so a filtered view survives a reload and can be shared as a link. The old column Filters menu, whose selections never changed the rows on this list, has been removed.

Sort a holding's Classes table by any column
On a holding's Classes tab, every column header looked like a sort control, but only Name and Ownership actually responded — clicking Commitments, Investors or Units did nothing and explained nothing. Every data column on that table now sorts: Name, Type, Ownership, the debt-term columns (Interest rate, Maturity, Seniority), Authorized Units, Issued Units, PPU, Mgmt Fee, Investors, Commitments, Contributions, Uncalled, Distributions, Promote and Capital account. Each column orders by the value behind the cell rather than the text in it, so amounts and units sort numerically and Maturity sorts by date — and Ownership stops mis-ordering once a holding has more than ten classes. A row whose cell shows an em dash, because it has no value or because the column does not apply to that class type, now sorts after every row that has a value in both directions, and clearing the sort returns the table to its usual share-class-type-then-name order.

Preview the portal as an investor without leaving their entity page
View as Investor now sits in the header of the investing entity page, on every tab, so you can check what an investor sees from where you were already working instead of first tracking down one of their contacts. It opens the same read-only preview in a new tab that you already get from a contact's page. Which contact you preview as follows the entity's linked contacts: one linked contact previews straight away, several open a short menu with the primary contact listed first, and an entity with no linked contact keeps the button visible but disabled, telling you to link a contact before previewing.

Put site photos and renderings in a Files section of your opportunity page
A Files section on the opportunity page now accepts common web pictures — .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp and .gif — alongside the documents it already took, so site photography, renderings and floor plans can sit on the page instead of only being described there. Each picture behaves like any other file in that section: reorder it, remove it, hide it from a share class, or keep it behind the NDA. On the investor's side a picture in a Files section opens in the image viewer, fitted to the width with its aspect ratio kept and zoom available, and the download action is unchanged. Two things stay as they were: the Offering Deck section is still documents only, and .heic, .heif and .svg files are not offered.

A capital call action you can't use now tells you why — and how to unblock it
Controls on a capital call's page that the call's current state forbids — Delete request, Delete capital call, Change receiving account — used to sit greyed out and refuse you without a word, since their reason only lived in a tooltip a disabled menu item never shows, which reads like a broken feature. Each of them now stays clickable, keeps its usual label and icon with no lock or other marker, and choosing it opens a short dialog that names what can't be done, says why, and says what to change to unblock it, while performing nothing at all: no confirmation opens, nothing is sent, and the call and its requests are untouched. The explanations are concrete rather than generic — a blocked account change or call delete states how many requests have already been sent and that their status must first move to Not Called or Declined, and Send call on a call with no receiving bank account explains that and points at marking the request as Called by hand. Nothing about whether an action is blocked has changed; only how the refusal reaches you.

Take a funding request back out of Declined — and move any request to any status
A declined funding request is no longer a dead end: its status pill on the capital call's page opens the same full menu every other request has, so a mis-clicked decline is undone from exactly where it was made — and where the position's uncalled commitment can no longer absorb the amount, the reopen still goes through and the page warns you, naming the investor, the request's amount and what remains. That is now the general rule: the lifecycle pill on a request's row, and the matching pill on the drawer's hero, list every status the request is not already in — Called, Transferred, Invested, Declined, Not called — with nothing listed as blocked, and a selection applies immediately with no confirmation step, while using the row's pill does not open the drawer. Sending and hand-driving are one path rather than two: a request emailed with Send call lands in Called, the same place a hand-marked request reaches, and continues through the same controls, and each move still does exactly what it recorded before — every move to Not called voids the request's issued payment link, entering Invested records the payment, and leaving Invested removes it so Contributed returns to zero. A request can also be deleted from the call outright from its row menu, and the page now reads like a record page: the summary tiles read Investors called, Called and Contributed (Contributed in the success tone the GP dashboard uses for money that has arrived), the requests table states the Committed amount each request draws on and what is Remaining after call, the bulk action reads Call N investors, and the request drawer regains the stage-tinted hero and card-stack body the fundraise drawer already had.

See every investor's share of every distribution in one table
A holding's Distributions tab now carries a Collapsed | Detailed view toggle, presented the way the Contributions tab's toggle already is. Collapsed stays the default and is the same one-row-per-distribution table as before, so nothing about the view you have been using changes. Switch to Detailed and the same tab lists one row per investor allocation instead of one row per distribution — the distribution's name, the investor, the share class (shown only when the holding has more than one investor class), the date, the amount, the net, and, once the distribution has been finalized, that allocation's payment status — so what an investor has actually received from this holding, and what is still in flight, reads off a single table instead of opening each distribution in turn. The Detailed view is read-only and clicking a row opens that distribution; a Draft distribution does not appear in it (it stays in Collapsed), and the metric tiles above the table do not change with the view.

A contact that won't delete now tells you what is holding it
When Covercy One won't delete a contact, it now says why: a dialog opens listing the records that are holding it — a live agreement signature, for example — and the contact stays in your list. You see the same dialog wherever you delete contacts: from the contacts list, from an investing entity's Contacts tab, and from a bulk selection, where the contacts that can be deleted are deleted and the dialog names only the ones that were not, so a bulk delete is no longer all-or-nothing. A second correction ships alongside it: a contact's Entities count on the contacts list — and sorting by that column — now counts only the investing entities that are still there, no matter how long ago the others were deleted. Those entities also drop out of the contact's Investing Entities table, and the contact's cash flows are drawn only from the entities still listed there.

Send the documents themselves, not just a link
Sharing a document from the Document Center used to mean one thing: the investor got a branded email with a link into the portal, and the files stayed behind. Tick Attach files to the email in the share modal and every recipient now receives the documents shared with them as real attachments alongside that same link — and a new Notify investors by email toggle means you can also share without sending mail at all. Attaching is decided afresh on every share: it is off by default, never remembered between opens, and offered only where the share lets the investor download, so a delivery choice never widens what they get to keep. The modal shows the attachment total before you send and holds a share over the 15 MB limit until you choose to send link-only or remove documents, so nothing quietly falls back to a link; folder shares stay link-only.

See only the agreement templates this share class actually uses
On Fundraise Setup → Agreements, the Agreement templates list used to render a card for every subscription template that existed on the holding — five templates meant five cards on every share class tab, whether the fundraise used them or not. It now renders one row per template actually assigned on the share class you are viewing, with a dashed + Add Row below the list when a class needs another, and removing a row un-assigns that template's entity types for that class. Each share class tab keeps its own list, and within a class a template already used by one row drops out of the other rows' options while staying selectable on every other tab. + Add Template in the section header still creates or clones a template into the holding's library, and a template made that way is selected straight into the first empty row, so one you have just created is never missing from the list.

Know exactly what your import will do before you run it
The import wizard used to describe your file twice, on two consecutive screens, in two vocabularies that did not line up. It is now three steps — Upload File, Map Columns, Review & Import — and the review says it once: every row reads New, Update, Skipped or Exists with the reason on its badge, the filter bar carries those same four words, and the import button counts only the rows that will actually be written. Skip new and Skip updates sit beside the counts, both off by default, and ticking either recomputes the counts, the row statuses and the button on the spot. Map Columns was rebuilt to match, with one row per destination field grouped by the object it describes, example values drawn from your own file, a status of Auto, Suggested, Manual, Required or Not mapped, and the near-matches the system had always computed now shown as Suggested with a one-click Use.

See what is still callable on every position
The Positions page and an investor entity's positions table now carry Uncalled — the commitment you have not yet called — in the money block between Contributions and Distributions, so how much of each commitment is still callable reads straight off the row. Called, the part of a commitment already called, is there too, hidden until you switch it on from the Columns menu for the times you are reconciling against capital-call notices. Both add a footer total when the rows on screen share one currency, closed positions excluded, and a row missing either figure shows an em dash rather than a zero. If you have already arranged your columns, that arrangement is untouched: the new defaults apply only to columns your saved layout has no opinion about.

Attach the signed paperwork while you add the investor
Recording an investor who has already signed used to be two jobs: create the opportunity, then go back into it to attach the executed paperwork. Now the New opportunity dialog carries a Documents & Agreements section — set the status to Signed or Invested and it is there, open, ready for the files: drop or browse, mark each one NDA, Agreement or Other, and leave Share with investor checked to send it through. Adding the investor is never undone by a file that will not upload; if one fails, the investor stays added and the dialog offers to retry just the files that did not go through.

A bank account your firm added belongs to your firm, not to whoever added it
Any teammate with full access to your workspace can now edit or delete a bank account your firm entered itself on an investing entity's Banking tab — the person who first typed it in has no standing the rest of the team lacks, so an account no longer outlives the colleague who created it. Teammates with view-only access are not offered Edit or Delete, including on an account they added themselves. An account an investor added on their own side stays read-only for your firm, exactly as before. Covercy will never ask you to share your password, two-factor codes, or banking credentials by email, text, or phone.

Wire instructions now carry the beneficiary address your bank asks for
An investor paying by wire now sees a Beneficiary Address on the bank-transfer details they read and on the wire instructions they download — a line receiving banks ask for, and one that was simply absent before. What makes it possible is that a bank account a GP enters themselves now carries the beneficiary's address alongside the account details, asked for wherever that account is created or edited; where another account belonging to the same legal entity already has an address on file, it is offered as a starting point so nobody has to type it twice. Where an account has no address on file, the row is left out rather than filled in with something approximate. Covercy will never ask you to share your password, two-factor codes, or banking credentials by email, text, or phone.

Imported contributions now count as money already collected
A holding whose contributions arrived by import used to read as though none of the money had ever been collected — Uncalled matching Committed straight down the book — because only capital calls raised inside Covercy One counted against a commitment. Your holdings list and holding pages now count the money actually received alongside calls that have gone out and are still unpaid, so a fully collected imported holding reads Uncalled zero, and Committed equals Called plus Uncalled on every holding. The same figure now guards a new capital call: the uncalled commitment a call is checked against, and the amount shown beside each investor when you pick positions, counts collected money too, so an investor whose imported contributions already cover their commitment shows nothing left to call. A call you have sent that has not yet been paid still counts as called, exactly as before.

Investor preview now shows the buttons your investors actually see
Looking at the portal through View as Investor, an Action Required card no longer leaves out the action your investor is actually being asked to take. Pay Now on a pending capital call is shown, in the place the investor sees it, and clicking it explains that View as Investor is a look-only simulation instead of opening the payment. The whole point of the preview is to show you what your investor sees, and the one thing it used to hide was the thing being asked for.

Ask for your positions grouped by holding — and get a table back
How much sits in each holding is the question a GP asks most, and Neo now answers it. Ask for a table of your positions separated by holdings and you get one row per holding — the holding, its open positions, its distinct investors, committed, contributions and the holding's currency, ordered by committed — rather than a flat per-position list or a reply telling you the question is not supported. Filters and limits apply to those grouped rows, and asking without grouping behaves exactly as before. Two smaller things come with it: if your holdings are not all in one currency, portfolio totals are stated once per currency instead of added into a single unlabelled figure, and asking to see data now gets you the data — only a request for a place still moves you to that page.

Add Investor shows unit prices in your holding's currency
Adding an investor to a fundraise on a holding that is not in dollars used to quote every unit price in dollars anyway: the price-per-unit hint, the derived units preview, the fractional-units correction suggestions and the price-override field all carried a currency symbol that came from nowhere, while the amounts on the page behind the dialog were in the holding's real currency. Add Investor now shows the holding's own currency throughout, so the money you are entering reads the same way as the rest of the holding.

Meetings with your contacts land in their timeline by themselves
Events on a connected calendar now become Meeting activities on the contacts they involve, so your CRM timeline fills in on its own rather than waiting for someone to log a meeting by hand. A calendar event has to clear the same contact-and-domain test that email sync already applies, so meetings and emails involving the same people are treated consistently. The sync reaches back over a bounded history window, so recent meetings arrive alongside the ones still to come, and an event you have deleted for good stays deleted.

Synced meetings and emails read the way they were written
A meeting pulled in from a connected calendar is now readable. Its notes keep the formatting they were written with — paragraphs, links and lists — instead of arriving as a wall of raw markup, and the body can be selected and copied; the footer beneath it reads like something a person wrote, giving how long the meeting ran rather than a raw end timestamp, with each attendee named once. Tasks, Activity and Communications have each gained a Refresh control, sitting with the controls you already use on that page and running the same mailbox sync that until now lived only in Settings — so after taking a meeting you can pull it in without leaving the page you are on. It shows a busy state while it runs and reloads the page's data when it finishes, and it is not shown at all if you have no mailbox connected.

Ask a signed investor for their first contribution before their position exists
From a signed opportunity, a GP can now ask the investor for their first contribution — the whole of what they committed, or a part of it — before a position exists, and the confirmation says plainly that review is not yet complete and that a payment will not create the position on its own. The investor pays through the invest flow they already use, the payment counts once as that opportunity's contribution, and the position adopts it when it is created. Fund administrator approval is unchanged, and now applies to money that arrived through Covercy. Covercy will never ask you to share your password, two-factor codes, or banking credentials by email, text, or phone.

Agree the fees and conditions of a submission up front
The opportunity drawer now carries a Fees & Conditions card, so the fees and conditions a submission is being agreed on are readable by everyone who has to sign off on it: it opens by default for whoever owes a decision, and the dialog an approval goes through restates the same figures, so approving means explicitly confirming those terms rather than clicking once. Whoever files a submission chooses up front which of the fund's available conditions it qualifies for, and that choice can still be corrected later from the same card, after a warning that every reviewer will have to approve again. A fund administrator's review now begins only once the investor has signed, so what reaches their queue is a settled deal, and a GP's own opportunity is put up for review only where the holding has a fund administrator assigned to it. The position is booked the moment the last approval lands, or, where a fund closes in scheduled rounds, when that round is executed; and once every reviewer has approved, a single rejection can no longer undo it. Covercy will never ask you to share your password, two-factor codes, or banking credentials by email, text, or phone.

Send any agreement you like for signature — and watch it all the way to signed

You send it from the Send & Tracking tab: pick the Custom template, choose the contacts, add a personal note if you want one, and name the investing entity only when a contact has more than one to choose from. The tracking table keeps a row per request showing its live status, when it went out and when it was last reminded, with Remind and Cancel on anything still in flight and preview and download once a signed copy exists. When signing is finished the executed paper files into the template's folder, shared with the investor or kept to your team according to how you set the template up.

One status on an opportunity that every side of the deal reads the same way
Every opportunity in your queue now carries a single Status that GPs, brokers, managing broker-dealers and fund administrators all see identically, and it tells you whose move the deal is waiting on — including the broker, when a package has been sent back to them. That Status has its own column and filter in every queue, and an opportunity that was lost or declined always says so instead of blending into an earlier stage. Around that, the Review card lists every reviewer and their role in one consistent layout, portal queues show which firm placed each opportunity and how much money has actually arrived, filing a package on another firm's behalf no longer counts as your own approval, brokers can submit even when no subscription template has been set up, and commissions are now calculated on the platform. Covercy will never ask you to share your password, two-factor codes, or banking credentials by email, text, or phone.

Your whole team hears the moment an investor signs
When an investor signs an NDA from your opportunity page, your team now hears about it by email — until now that signature produced no mail at all, so the only way to find out was to open the platform and look. Every agreement type now emails every active user in your organization each time a signer completes, instead of reaching only admins and only when your own counter-signature was still outstanding. Signatures are reported per signer, so an entity with two signers sends two messages rather than silence until the last one signs. Each message names the agreement and the holding it belongs to, and the counter-sign notification you already receive still arrives separately once all investor signers are done and your signature is what remains.

Call your debt distribution what your loan documents call it
The words your investors read in a debt distribution notice are now yours to choose: on a debt holding, each hurdle's investor-facing label can be renamed with the same control an equity holding has always offered. Interest and Return of Principal remain what a debt distribution starts with — they are now defaults you can override rather than fixed terminology — so if your loan documents say Coupon, you are no longer sending investors a word your own paperwork doesn't use. The label you set is what appears in the distribution notice and in each investor's own breakdown, which is what makes this more than cosmetic. Clearing a rename restores that tier's debt default, changing a row's tier starts that row over from its new tier's own default rather than carrying your wording across, and the renamed marker appears only when the label actually differs from the default — so a row you haven't touched stays clean.

Your Payees list stops doubling up
