By the end of this guide you'll have sent a payment from one of your Covercy One bank accounts — choosing a recipient, entering the amount and details, verifying your identity, and confirming the payment went through.

Making a payment is a GP task. You need a Covercy One bank account set up for your investing entity before you can send payments. If you haven't added a bank account yet, see Set up banking first.
Open the payment wizard
Navigate to the Banking section and open the bank account you want to pay from. Select Send a Payment to launch the payment wizard. The wizard walks you through four steps — Recipient, Details, Review, and Summary — and you can navigate between completed steps using the progress bar at the top.
Choose a recipient
The first step asks you to select who receives the payment. You have three options:
- New Recipient — enter the recipient's bank details manually. Choose whether to send by ACH or Wire, then fill in the recipient's name, routing number, account number, and account type. Wire payments also ask for the recipient's address.
- Existing Recipient — pick from a recipient you've already saved, so you don't have to re-enter their details.
- Internal Transfer — move funds to another account owned by the same entity.
