By the end of this guide you'll know how to open a holding in your Covercy One investor portal, read each position's investing entity and financial metrics, check which bank account receives your distributions, and change the entity linked to a position when you hold investments through more than one entity.
Note
You see a holding once a sponsor (GP) has added you to it. If a holding you expect is missing, contact the sponsor who manages it — they control which investments appear in your portal.
A holding represents one investment, and within it you may have one or more positions — each position is held by one of your investing entities. The holding's Overview tab brings these positions together so you can see, for each one, the investing entity, the share class, your committed, contributed, and distributed amounts, the deal date, and the bank account set up for distributions.
Open a holding
- Sign in to your Covercy One investor portal.
- From your portfolio, select the holding you want to review.
- Open the Overview tab to see your positions in that holding.
Read your positions
The Overview tab lists your positions in the holding. When you have one or two positions, each appears as a card; when you have three or more, they appear as a table on a wider screen — with a totals row summing the committed, contributed, and distributed columns — and as cards on a narrow screen, with a toggle to switch the view.
Each position shows the investing entity it belongs to, the share class with its type, and the financial metrics for that position — committed, contributed, and distributed amounts — formatted in the holding's currency.
