By the end of this guide you'll know how to open Neo, start and manage conversations, copy answers to your clipboard, and send feedback on responses — everything you need to start using your AI assistant in Covercy One.
Note
Neo is available to GP users throughout the GP experience. You can open the chat panel from any page.
Open and close the Neo chat panel
- Click Ask AI in the top navigation bar to open the Neo chat panel. The input field is focused automatically so you can start typing right away.
- Alternatively, press Ctrl+/ on Windows or Cmd+/ on Mac from anywhere in the GP experience to toggle the panel open or closed.
- To close the panel, click Ask AI again or use the same keyboard shortcut.
Tip
When you navigate to a page that Neo has context for — such as your contacts list or a holding detail page — the Ask AI button briefly animates and shows "Ask about [page context]" to let you know Neo is aware of what you are viewing. Click the button at any time to open the panel and ask a question about the current page.
Start a conversation
- Open the Neo chat panel. If no conversation is active, you will see the empty state with suggested prompts.
- Type your question or request in the input box and press Enter (or click the send button). Neo responds in real time — the answer appears word by word as it is generated.
