By the end of this guide you'll know how to ask Neo plain-English questions about your firm's data — contacts, entities, holdings, share classes, investment applications, documents, and capital calls — filter results on the fly, and pull up a summary of what's new since you last logged in.
Note
Neo is available to GP users across the Covercy One platform. Your data access follows your firm's role and permissions, so Neo can only surface records you are already authorized to see.
Open Neo
- Select the Ask AI button in the toolbar, or press Ctrl+/ (Windows) or Cmd+/ (Mac) from anywhere in the GP experience.
- The Neo chat panel opens on the right side of the screen with a message input and any context-aware suggestions for the page you're on.
- Type your question in the input field and press Enter to send it.
Tip
When you navigate to a new page — such as your contacts list or a holding detail — the Ask AI button briefly updates to reflect the current context (for example, "Ask about Holdings"). Opening the panel from there gives you suggestions tailored to that page.
Query your contacts and investing entities
Ask Neo about any contact or investing entity in your CRM. Neo returns formatted results with a clickable link to each record so you can navigate straight to the detail page.
