By the end of this guide you'll be able to open the Check Tracking table for a bank account, read check statuses, refresh a row to get the latest status, cancel a check that hasn't left the queue, place a stop payment on an in-flight check, and view the printed check image.
Note
Check Tracking is available for eligible Covercy One bank accounts. It is not available for accounts outside that set — if you don't see the option, your account is not in scope.
Open Check Tracking
- Go to the Banking section and open the bank account you want to inspect.
- From the account actions menu, select Check Tracking.
- The Check Tracking table loads, scoped to that account. Each row represents one outbound check payment.
Read the table
Each row shows the check number, payee, amount, status, delivery status, send date, and last updated timestamp where available. Some fields may show as unavailable for recently created checks that haven't been fully processed yet — this is expected and resolves after the row is refreshed.
Note
The Outstanding Checks and Pending amount totals above the table summarize the checks currently visible after any search or column filters you have applied. Adjusting a filter updates both totals automatically.
Understand check statuses
The status badge on each row reflects where the check is in its lifecycle. A badge means the check has physically reached the payee but has not yet cleared at the bank. A badge means the check has cleared. A badge means a stop instruction is active on that check — future deposit attempts will be screened and returned.
