By the end of this guide you'll be able to open any single investor position in Covercy One and read everything the platform holds about it — its headline figures, ownership and terms, the contributions and distributions behind those figures, its transfer lineage, and who changed what and when.
Note
You need access to your firm's GP workspace and a holding with at least one investor position. The position view is a GP surface only — nothing in it is shown to investors in the portal.
Open a position
The same position view opens from every place positions are listed, and it shows the same figures and records wherever you start from:
- Open a holding and go to its Overview tab, then select the position's row.
- Or open Positions and select a row there.
- Or open an investing entity and select a row on its Positions tab, or in the positions table on its overview.
- The position opens as a wide panel over the list you came from. Close it when you're done and you're back on that list.
If one investor holds more than one position in the same share class, the list shows them as a single row. Selecting that row lists the individual positions first — each with its fundraise, deal date, and committed amount — and choosing one opens its view, with a control that takes you back to the list.
Tip
While the view is open, your browser's address identifies the position. Copy the page address to send a colleague straight to the same position, or to come back to it later — loading that address reopens the view. There's no separate copy-link button. Closing the view removes the position from the address again.
