Build the investor landing page for a fundraise in Covercy One — assemble it from sections you can add, rename, reorder, and hide; write a rich description; add a video, documents, images, and your team; control what sits behind an NDA; set the self-service flow; and choose who can discover the fundraise.
By the end of this guide you'll have configured the investor landing page for a fundraise — the page investors see when you invite them into an opportunity. You'll build it from sections you can add, rename, reorder, and hide: a rich description, a video, documents and data rooms, a property gallery, your team, and deal progress. You'll also control what sits behind an NDA, tailor each share class, set how far investors can self-serve, and choose who can discover the fundraise.
Note
Configuring the investor landing page is a GP task. You need access to your firm's workspace and to the fundraise you're configuring. Set up the holding, its share classes, and the fundraise first. If an action is unavailable, ask a workspace admin to grant you access.
Open the landing page configuration
Open the fundraise and go to its Opportunity Page. The page is organized into sections that you assemble and arrange. You configure a shared default that applies to every share class, then tailor each share class on its own tab. The investor view mirrors what you build here, so you can configure with confidence and preview before you publish.
Work with sections
The landing page is made of sections, and each section header carries its own controls. You can rename a section, toggle its visibility, reorder it, and — where the section type allows — add or remove it. You can include more than one section of the same type, so you can build, for example, two document collections or two team lists on the same page.
Rename a section by editing its title; the title you set becomes the heading investors see. Leave it blank to fall back to the default label, such as Description or Offering Deck.
Drag a section to reorder it; investors see sections in the order you set.
Toggle a section's visibility to show or hide it without removing it. Hidden sections are never shown to investors.
Select + Add section to add another section — including a second section of the same type — and give it its own title.
Select Delete section (the trash control) to permanently remove a section you added. Structural sections such as the title, image gallery, investment details, asset details, and the main deck can be hidden but not deleted.
Warning
Delete a section from the default (All Classes) tab only. Covercy One asks you to confirm first, because deleting a section removes its content, and share classes that inherited that section have it removed too.
Write the description
A Description section uses a rich text editor, so you can format the deal narrative the way you want investors to read it. You can add more than one description section if you want separate blocks of narrative. Use the toolbar to:
Apply bold and italic formatting and add headings.
Build bulleted and numbered lists.
Add clickable links.
Insert images, then align them left, center, or right and size them small, medium, large, or full width.
Embed a YouTube video.
Insert a table with a header row.
Undo and redo your edits as you go.
To add an image, select the image button in the toolbar and choose a file from your computer. Covercy One uploads it and places it in the description, where you can align and resize it. The investor view renders the description exactly as it appears in the editor preview.
Add a video
A Video section embeds a YouTube video on the landing page — for example a property tour or a sponsor introduction. Add a Video section and paste a YouTube link (a youtube.com or youtu.be address). The section starts hidden, so make it visible once you're ready for investors to see it. If the link isn't a valid YouTube URL, the editor shows an inline warning and the video simply doesn't appear on the investor page. You can add more than one video section, each with its own title and link.
Share documents and data rooms
The Offering Deck section holds the documents you share with investors — for example a pitch deck, financial model, or property summary. To share additional, separately named sets of files, add one or more file collection sections and title them (for instance Data Room or Legal Documents); each collection keeps its own document list. Every document is managed individually, so you control them one at a time.
Upload a document to add it to the section. It appears in the document list with its filename.
Drag documents to reorder them; the order you set is the order investors see.
Toggle visibility on any document to show or hide it without removing it. Hidden documents are never sent to investors.
Delete a document to remove it from the section when you no longer want to share it.
For each document section you also choose how files are presented. In Viewer mode investors read documents inline in an embedded viewer; in List mode they see a compact list of files with download links. Set the display mode per section, and override it per share class if you want a class to see files differently.
Show property images
The image gallery displays the property photos for the deal. Choose how they're shown: Grid arranges the images in a mosaic that opens a full-screen lightbox when an investor clicks an image, while Slideshow shows one large hero image with left and right arrows and a scrollable thumbnail strip below it. The gallery display mode is set per section and can be overridden per share class.
Introduce your team
A Team section presents the people behind the deal as a grid of member cards. Add a Team section, then add each member. A member needs a name; title, a bio link, email, phone, and a photo are all optional, and each card shows only the fields you fill in. Drag members to reorder them, and add more than one team section — for example a Core Team and an Advisory Board — each with its own title and member list.
Control what investors see
You decide what's revealed openly and what an investor must sign an NDA to view. The NDA controls appear only when the fundraise's deal access requires an NDA — when it doesn't, all content is shown to investors openly and the controls stay hidden.
Use the shield toggle next to a section header to require an NDA for the whole section.
Use the shield toggle next to an individual field or document to require an NDA for just that item.
A filled shield indicates the section, field, or document is NDA-protected.
Before an investor signs, titles stay visible while the protected values, documents, videos, or team cards are hidden behind a prompt to sign the NDA. After they sign, the protected content is revealed automatically and stays visible when they return. When you configure a share class on its own tab, NDA settings are inherited from the shared default until you override them on that tab.
Show fundraise progress
The Deal Progress section shows investors how the raise is tracking. When a target amount is set for the relevant share class (or the total), investors see a progress bar comparing committed to target with a percentage. If there's a committed amount but no target, the committed amount is shown as text without a bar. When there's neither a target nor a committed amount, the section doesn't appear.
Tailor each share class
Configure the shared default on the All Classes (Default) tab, then open a share class's own tab to tailor it. Each class inherits the default — content, section titles, NDA protection, and display modes — until you override an item on that tab, where your change takes precedence for that class. When a share class overrides the default, an Editing override for callout appears with a Reset to default control that returns the whole class to inheriting the default in one step. Covercy One asks you to confirm because the reset discards that class's customizations, and it applies immediately without a separate save.
Set the investor self-service flow
The fundraise's investor flow settings control how far an investor can go on their own before you step in. Each setting includes helper text explaining its impact, and you set them per fundraise. Changes to these flow settings take effect as you make them.
Deal Access — choose Open Access, require an NDA, require investor accreditation, or require both. When an NDA is required, you select the NDA template investors sign.
Entity Details Access — let investors proceed automatically, or gate the step so it waits for your approval.
Signing Access — let investors sign on their own, or gate the step for your approval.
Payment Access — let investors proceed to payment automatically, or gate it for your approval. This applies to invest-oriented fundraises.
When Deal Access requires an NDA, pick the NDA template from the selector that appears beneath the toggle. From the same control you can Choose Existing, create one with + New Agreement, or Clone from… another holding; a template you create or clone becomes the active selection without a page refresh.
Note
When a step is gated, investors reach a hold screen and you're notified so you can review and approve. Once you approve an investor, they receive an email with a link to resume at the approved step. Requiring investor accreditation is covered in its own guide, and notification emails are covered under the fundraising pipeline guides.
You can also enable automated reminder emails for investors who start but go quiet, so idle invitations get a nudge. Reminders are off by default; turn them on in the investor flow settings when you want them.
Choose who can discover the fundraise
Above the share class tabs, the LP Portal Visibility panel controls who can find this fundraise in the investor portal. Choose Invited Only, Related Investors, All Contacts, or a Public Link you can share, pick the share class investors discover, and save with the panel's own controls. The change takes effect for portal discovery right away.
Save your changes
The landing page content uses explicit Save and Cancel buttons rather than autosaving, so nothing you build reaches investors until you save.
Make your edits. As soon as you change anything, Save becomes active and Cancel appears.
Select Save to publish your changes; a saving indicator shows while it's in progress.
Select Cancel to discard your unsaved changes and return to the last saved state.
Warning
If you try to switch to another share class tab with unsaved changes, Covercy One asks you to save or cancel first. If you try to leave the page with unsaved changes, you're prompted to stay, discard, or save and leave — so you don't lose work by accident.
Preview and verify
Use the preview to see the landing page exactly as an investor will. When the fundraise requires an NDA, the preview includes an NDA View toggle so you can switch between the signed and not-signed views: in the not-signed view, protected sections and fields show their prompts and badges; in the signed view, the full content is revealed. Confirm your sections appear in the order you set with the titles you gave them, your description renders correctly, the video and images display, the right documents appear while hidden ones don't, team cards show the fields you filled in, and the protected content behaves as you intended. If something won't save or a control is missing, confirm the fundraise's deal access setting and that you have the right access, or reach out to our team for help.
Why don't I see the NDA shield toggles?
The NDA controls appear only when the fundraise's deal access requires an NDA. If deal access is set to Open Access or to require accreditation only, the shields are hidden and all content is shown to investors openly. Change the Deal Access setting to require an NDA to reveal the controls.
Do my changes go live as I type?
Not for the landing page content. Sections, descriptions, documents, and their settings use explicit Save and Cancel buttons, so your edits reach investors only after you select Save. A few related settings behave differently: the investor flow gate settings take effect as you set them, and the portal visibility panel has its own save control.
Can I add more than one of the same kind of section?
Yes. Use + Add section to add another description, video, document collection, team, or deal-progress section, and give each its own title. On the investor page they render independently in the order you arrange them.
Which sections can't I delete?
Structural sections — the title, image gallery, investment details, asset details, and the main Offering Deck — can be hidden with the visibility toggle but not deleted. Sections you add, such as extra descriptions, videos, document collections, and team lists, can be removed with the Delete section control from the default tab.
How do I hide a document or section without deleting it?
Toggle visibility off on that document or section. It stays in your configuration but is never sent to investors, and everything else is unaffected. Toggle it back on whenever you want to share it again.
Can I configure each share class differently, and undo it later?
Yes. Configure a shared default, then tailor each share class on its own tab; settings such as NDA protection, display modes, and content are inherited from the default until you override them for that class. To undo, use Reset to default in the "Editing override for" callout to return that class to inheriting the default in one step.
Why can't I delete an NDA template?
Covercy One blocks deleting an NDA template while it's still required by an active fundraise, so you can't leave a fundraise needing an NDA with no template attached. The message lists the fundraises and share classes using it — switch their Deal Access to Open Access or select a different template first, then delete.
