By the end of this guide you'll have started a business bank account application for one of your legal entities, completed the secure application form inside Covercy One, and know how to resume it later or start fresh if an application is cancelled.
Note
Opening a business bank account is a GP task. You need access to the legal entity you're applying for. You start and complete the application from the entity's Banking area, where your applications and bank accounts are listed together.
Start an application
Open the legal entity you want a bank account for and go to its Banking area. From the Bank Accounts table, choose Start Application to begin. Covercy One creates a new application for that entity and opens the application form for you to complete.
Note
Each legal entity has its own application. If you manage banking for several entities, start an application from within the entity you intend the account to belong to.
Complete the application form
The application form opens directly inside Covercy One — you fill it out in place without leaving the page. Work through the form's sections and provide the business and ownership details it asks for. When everything is complete, submit the application from within the form.
