manage high-net-worth investor activity in the US, and 8M assets together worth trillions. This is not only time-consuming and
inefficient but also requires expensive overhead. Covercy’s platform uniquely combines mission-critical financial services with investor administration specifically designed to meet the needs of CRE investments. Among Covercy’s customers are small to mid-market US, Israel and Europe based CRE investment firms like Beach Front, Be-Aviv, FCA Orbita and their investors, who use Covercy to oversee over $10B in asset value.

The position

We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our growing company and take full ownership of the accounting process from budget to AR and AP.  The Assistant Controller will be part of the finance team, reporting to the Controller and will be responsible for the consolidated reports and subsidiaries’ accounting functions, including timely and accurate reporting of all financial reports and statements in accordance with US GAAP.

  • Based in Tel Aviv with hybrid remote work available
  • Sunday-Thursday


  • Ownership of the monthly closing process and preparation of consolidated financial statements and relevant
    worksheets, including Budget control and analysis
  • Ownership of billing (SaaS), revenue recognition and AR. Requires ongoing communication with the Sales team
  • Ownership of AP, including usage analysis and payments
  • Execution of key controls with respect to core-business functions and records to ensure data integrity
  • Ongoing communication with external bookkeeping functions to ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Ongoing communication with the Finance Operations team to ensure proper execution of daily FinOp processes
  • Assistance with preparation of periodic reporting packages to banks, financial partners and regulators


  • Independent, eager to take ownership
  • Big 4 graduate (at least 3 years of experience)
  • Experience with financial processes and reporting in global High-Tech companies
  • Experience with annual statutory reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent English- written and verbal
  • Fast learner, hands-on, detail oriented
  • Ability to work at a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
