By the end of this guide you'll have invited a colleague to your Covercy One workspace and know how to resend or revoke a pending invitation.
You need team-management permission for your organization to invite teammates. If you don't see the invite option, ask a workspace admin to grant you access or send the invitation for you.
Talk to our team (يفتح في علامة تبويب جديدة)Send an invitation
- Open Settings and go to your team or members area.
- Select Invite and enter the person's email address.
- Optionally choose a role for the new member.
- Submit the form. Covercy One creates a single pending invitation and emails the person a secure link to join.
The new invitation appears in your pending-invitations list. Each person receives a unique link that expires after a set time, so invitations stay current.
Resend or revoke a pending invitation
- Resend — re-send the invitation email if the person hasn't joined yet. This refreshes their link.
- Revoke — cancel a pending invitation you no longer want to stand. The link stops working.
How duplicate invites are handled
If you invite the same email address again while an invitation is still pending, Covercy One refreshes the existing invitation instead of creating a second one — so you'll always see exactly one entry per person. Email matching ignores capitalization and surrounding spaces. If the person is already an active member, the invite is declined with a message that they're already on your team.
Verify it worked
Check that the person shows once in your pending-invitations list. When they open the link and accept, they move from pending to an active team member.
- Can I invite someone who was previously removed or declined?
- Yes. Once a prior invitation was revoked, expired, or declined and the person isn't already a member, you can invite them again and a fresh pending invitation is created.
- Why can't I see the invite option?
- Inviting teammates requires team-management permission. Ask a workspace admin to grant you access or to send the invitation on your behalf.
